here's how to win: Suggest the page to all your friends. That's all! Whoever gets the most friends to become fans of our facebook page wins the free bow. How will we verify that you added them? Once a new fan shows up, we'll check out their profile to see who the mutual friend is. If there are multiple mutual friends we will give all the mutual friends a point unless the friend posts on our wall "your name here sent me". All you have to do is suggest friends! We'll take care of the rest! Simple enough huh?
This will run for two weeks, until February 28th.

What's New
So what has been going on at Korksiepoo? We got hats and headbands! Check them out. We have also applied to be a vendor at the Medina County Fair in Ohio. This would be our first big event. May is National Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month and we're helping!
Yes, I know it's only January, but I need to get the word out now. Cystic Fibrosis touches my heart for personal reasons. My best friend's new baby was diagnosed with CF. While treatment has come a long way, a cure is yet to be found. So we're going to help. 25% of our profits through the month of May will be donated to cystic fibrosis foundation at cff.org. Please help baby Brooklyn and all other babies, children, and adults living with CF!

Free Custom made bow giveaway!!! Through 1/31/10
I am giving away a free (shipping paid for by me) custom made bow. Here's the catch:
The person who can get the most traffic to my webpage http://korksiepoo.webs.com on their selected day wins a free bow. I have a tracking system that tracks the number of visitors to my page per day. All you need to do is respond to this post with your date of choice, 1/4/10 through 1/31/10. Only one person per day, so please verify that your date hasn't been selected before posting that. If you do not have an account please leave your email address. If you'd prefer not to do that, email me and I will post a comment with your first name and last initial with your selected ddate. Then on 2/1 I will notify the winner and get started on your bow. Simple as that!!! Any questions, please ask. I am new at this so I might have some kinks to work out :)

Getting Started
I am the creator of Korksie Poo. What is that? It's a company that specializes in handmade korker bows. I also do diaper cakes for baby showers or to welcome baby to the world.
Korker bows are super curly bows.
First let me tell you how I got interested in these bows. I worked as a photographer in a chain photo studio. I saw a little girl who had one of these korker bows. I asked her mother where she got the bow and went out and bought the same bow immediately for my infant daughter. The problem was, they only had it in one color and anybody who shopped in that store can have the exact same bow as my daughter. Let me say, I'm not one for being like everyone else. So I HAD to find other colors....but I couldn't.
After years of buying bows I didn't love, I discovered how to make these myself. I love to make them and dedicate lots of time to do it. Now I have two gorgeous girls, but even two heads can't hold all the bows I've made. So I decided to give moms, dads, grandparents, other family, and friends to design their own korker bow instead of having to search to find THE bow for their precious angel. My bows can be made to match outfits, give as gifts, wear for dance recitals, etc, etc!!
Know that each and every bow I make is made with happiness and care as if the bow were for my own child!!
